Delhi Heatwave: The non-governmental organization (NGO) Wildlife SOS Rapid Response rescued and treated a one-year-old monkey from the Prime Minister’s residence at Lok Kalyan Marg in the capital Delhi, which had fallen ill due to extreme heat. The NGO gave this information in a statement on Wednesday. It has been told in this statement that the monkey had fallen ill due to extreme heat. He also had dehydration and was having difficulty breathing.

Monkey’s life saved after a call from PM House

According to the statement, the NGO received a call from the Prime Minister’s residence and immediately sent a team to the Prime Minister’s residence to rescue the monkey and the team immediately took the monkey to the Wildlife SOS treatment center. A team of veterinarians assessed the condition of the monkey and treated it.

Monkey’s health improved

The NGO said the monkey’s health has improved and it is being monitored for full recovery. Kartick Satyanarayan, co-founder and chief executive of Wildlife SOS, said quick action is crucial when animals are hit by extreme heat.

Wasim Akram, Special Projects Director at Wildlife SOS, said: “We appreciate the prompt action taken by the staff of the Prime Minister’s residence who contacted Wildlife SOS for the treatment of the monkey.”

When will we get relief from the heat
